The Review
After a disastrous debut Josh, Naga Chaitanya comes out with a simple and cute film Ye Maya Chesave. What works out for this film is its simplicity in every department. Director Gowtham Menon, who started his career with a love story Cheli, comes back to complete love story with Ye Maya Chesave and he wins hearts. The simple story, the neat dialogues, the pleasant music and songs, the beautiful heroin and the cute Naga Chaitanya makes Ye Maya Chesave a complete pleasant film. The film starts with a slow pace but as the film progresses it makes the audience deeply involved in it. The film lacks all the commercial elements but keeps you involving. The major strength is it is visually stunning. The only weakness is its slow pace especially in the first half. The second half is really cool.
Synopsis
Engineering graduate Karthik (Naga Chaitanya) wants to become a film maker. With the support and help of his friend Krishnudu he joins as an assistant director to director Puri Jagannadh. Meanwhile he falls in love at first sight with Jessy (Samantha), daughter of his house owner, who works as a software Engineer. He keeps on trying to woo her despite knowing that she is two years older to him and her father is against love marriage. She resists for some time and soon starts falling for him. Everything is fine in their life, until Jessy’s father finds about their love. The problem comes. How did Karthik achieve his goal and also how did he won his love is all about the rest of the film?
Artistic Performances
Naga Chaitanya came out with fresh performance. He did the role with an ease. His dialogue delivery and the body languages are excellent. He falls flat in few expressions. Samantha is looking very nice and also her performance. She justified her role. The chemistry of Naga Chaitanya and Samntha worked very well for this film. Among others Krishnudu justified his role and also Devan. Trisha, Simbhu and Puri Jagannadh flash in few shots. All other actors justified their roles.
Technical Performance
The show completely belongs to director Gowtham Menon and the way he brought the visuals. It’s very simple love story but Gowtham made it a cute story with his execution. The other major strength is of course the music by AR Rahaman. Brilliant songs. And Gowtham shot them poetically and every song touches your heart and takes you in to some pleasant feeling. The rerecording is disappointing here and there. Other major strength lies in the simplicity of the dialogues by Anuradha. The cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and art direction by Rajeevan are other major assets. Editing by Anthony is also good. All other departments justified their roles.

The Union government is planning to introduce full body scanners at airports in view of recent security threats, said the Union civil aviation minister, Mr Praful Patel, on Wednesday.
“We are working on procedures (on the installation of full body scanners) and certainly in times to come, we will be seeing full body scanners in Indian airports as well,” Mr Patel said.
In view of ethical concerns, the minister said the procedures will conform to all ethical norms. He said, “The exercise would take some time.” The minister added, “We will do it in a way and manner which is acceptable and on par with international safety and security norms.”

Self-styled godman Nityananda Swamy has gone “missing” after video footage of his alleged sleazy acts with actress Ranjitha were aired on a leading Tamil TV channel in Chennai, which were dismissed by his ashram as “morphed images”.
Even as his ashram and some followers insisted that Nityananda was an innocent victim of an elaborate conspiracy to hurt Hinduism, people behind the “sting” operation are said to be ready to put out at least two more DVDs showing more explicit bedroom scenes involving the youthful swami.
“We have no doubt, absolutely, regarding the authenticity of the first tape. We have tested it comprehensively,” said an official source, when asked to comment on the ashram’s claim about the swami’s divinity.
The ashram has issued a statement insisting that the video was fake and threatened legal action. It also sought to limit the damage by getting the YouTube to withdraw the explicit bedroom scene, running to about 22 minutes.
“This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Nityananda Dhyanapeetam,” said the posting on the website.
Actress Ranjitha is said to be a divorcee. Introduced by the celebrated director Bharatiraja in Naadodi Thendral years ago, she had done lead roles in quite a few films, including Jai Hindi and Amaidhi Padai.
The Chief Minister, Dr M. Karunanidhi’s announcement in Trichy that the government will conduct an investigation into the godman’s scams was apparently supported by fore knowledge about the tape. The video clearly shows that the man is Swami Nithyananda. However, the woman's face is blurred and the identity of the actress is yet to be confirmed.
The video, which came as a massive shock to the godman's followers, has led to widespread protests. In Coimbatore, angry followers took to streets and vandalised property.

Director K V Anand is working on his 'Ko' film under full secrecy hitherto heard only for Mani Ratnam and Shankar films.

If you do it, you are doomed. If you don’t, you are damned. That’s exactly what happened with Anushka Sharma and Shahid Kapoor when they locked lips on the sets of Yash Raj Films’ Badmaash Company. Both actors became the butt of many jokes on the sets.
The incident in question happened on the sets in Bandra where Shahid and Anushka kissed - not once, but thrice. After the first take, Sethi demanded a retake. “It was gawky and odd. You guys need to do it again,” he said.
While the set was being readied for the retake, Shahid and Anushka disappeared from the sets. When they were not to be seen for more than half an hour, the crew members tried calling them on their cell phones but to no avail. “Even Sethi tried calling them, but they didn’t take his call,” a source said.
Shahid and Anushka finally returned after two hours. When Sethi asked them where they had gone, they sheepishly said, “We had gone to buy some books from a bookstore in Bandra.” “Two hours?” Sethi asked. Shahid and Anushka did not reply.

Shahid Kapoor’s Paathshaala on April 16
Shahid Kapoor starrer Paathshaala, a film portraying the effect of the education system on children, will hit theatres on April 16.
The film, directed by Milind Ukey and produced by Bollywood choreographer Ahmed Khan and his wife Shaira, also stars actress Ayesha Takia and Nana Patekar.
Shahid, who was last seen in Chance Pe Dance, will play the character of an English and music teacher in the movie.
Ahmed insists that the topical plot of the film is going to attract huge attention.
"Once the promos are out, the film will be all over the place in the next 15 days. The film will release on April 16," said Ahmed.
"Since the subject matter is how the education system exercises pressure on children, my film is getting a lot of attention and I have been approached by many people who want to tie up with me," he added.
The choreographer, who has films like Kaminey and Ghajini to his credit, was in the capital recently to audition kids for a new reality show Chak Dhoom Dhoom.
Ironically, Paathshaala also shows how kids reality show exerts pressure on children.
"The film shows Patekar’s character calling people from a reality show and asking them to audition students from his school so that they get publicity," said Ahmed.
