1940 lo wins national award

National awards are announced yesterday for the year 2009. 1940 lo oka gramam won the best film award in regional category (Telugu). Narasimha Nandi directed it. Producer NC Narasimham will be given Rajat Kamal and a cash prize of 1 lac rupees. Telugu cinematographer Jaya Krishna Gummadi got the best cinematography award for non-feature film section for his work in ‘When This Man Dies’ He shares this award with Hem Jyothika and Devi Prasad Mishra who worked for ‘The Female Nude’.
